Mr. Ujjwal Kumar Bose joined the legal profession in 2002, initially dealing with diverse litigation works, but subsequently expanding to multifarious non-litigation and transactional work. Over the years he has worked as an in-house counsel for various organisations in different sectors like Capital Market(Reliance Capital), Petrochemicals (Haldia Petrochemicals), Traditional manufacturing (Kesoram Industries), Big Four consulting firm (PwC) and real estate (Bengal NRI Complex Ltd.).

He had the opportunity to deal with matters before various forums including Supreme Court of India, High Court at Calcutta, Delhi High Court, CESTAT, Anti-Dumping Authority and International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) to name a few. Issues handled by him relate to Customs duty, tariff dispute, DRI investigation, CCI cartel investigation, anti-arbitration injunction, merger & acquisition,disinvestments of Government stake, anti-dumpingduties on imported chemicals, Rights issue, Contract negotiations and executions with major domestic and international Oil Companies, advising on issues related to manpower contracting including statutory compliances, transfer of international tax and immigration service business of one of the Big Fours, restructuring of Board of Companies, CSR, Implementation of EU GDPR compliance framework, Data Privacy framework formulation, analysing new Labour Codes, developing legal and compliance function under Global service delivery model and xAcceleration centre framework for one of the Big Fours, Policy framing and implementation related to employee wellbeing, workplace diversity, anti-money laundering, anti-corruption, insider trading, obtaining critical regulatory approvals 24×7 working, facilitating corporate restructuring and QIP for one of the type manufacturing Organisation, Coal block deallocation matter including disputes before the Delhi High Court, agreements relating to equity infusion, arbitrations related to commissioning of petrochemical complex under a EPC contract, arbitration claims regarding brown field project, etc.

Mr. Anindya Basu joined the profession in 2003, after completing his masters. Over the years he has dealt with various Constitutional, Civil, Arbitration, Revenue and Company matters as a Counsel for various clients including The Peerless Group, The Statesman Ltd., Akzo Nobel India Ltd.
